Our History

Our company’s roots trace back to both family and community resilience. In 1972, the Buffalo Creek Flood devastated West Virginia, claiming the lives of 125 people, including many members of JD Smith’s, father, Joseph Smith’s family. The tragedy left a lasting mark on our family and community.

In the aftermath, JD and his father went down to Buffalo Creek to help with cleanup and recovery efforts. Those early experiences, seeing firsthand how disaster can devastate families, homes, and communities, This shaped JD’s commitment to building strong, reliable solutions for property restoration and construction.

That legacy of resilience and service continues today. Every project we take on is guided by a deep understanding of what it means to rebuild after hardship.
